News about the Tobermory Trompers will be the main focus of this blog but not it's only one. I will include highlights from our Dofasco Golf Group as well as political updates that reflect my take on the run-up to the 2015 federal election. Your comments are most welcome as well as pictures and travel updates. Please address all comments to "Andy".

""BREAKING NEWS''''- CONSERVATIVE MAJORITY
I am honoured to be invited to post this prediction on the upcoming Canadian Federal Election. Although there are three weeks to go and anything can happen, and in fairness to all who have already predicted the outcome it is only fair (the Conservative way) that I make my prediction before a further lapse of time. Final seat count: 161 Conservative 57 Liberal 48 Bloc 40 NDP 2 Independent The battleground will be Ontario of course. I see the Liberals losing 13 seats; 2 to the NDP and 11 to the Torys. C0ntrary to popular belief the Torys will win 12 seats in Quebec, two more than in 2008 with the Liberals losing two and the Bloc and NDP 1 each. BC will reward Harper with 2 additional seats taken from the Liberals. Alberta will be Tory Blue, the only party represented in Wild Rose Country. Manitoba and Sask seat count will remain unchanged. Nova Scotia will punish Iggy by one seat giving it to the Torys. Without Danny Williams telling them what to do the Tory's pick up two at the expense of the Liberals in NLFD. PEI and New Brunswick - no change. As for the Territories' three seats; two NDP and 0ne Tory. The Liberals will lose there seat in the Yukon. So, come May 3 an era of Conservative management arrives in Canada. This in fact could turn out to be an unprecedented epoch in Canadian political history. I foresee periods of Conservative dominance punctuated by timeouts for periods of Liberal Righteousness. Similar to the Diefenbaker and Mulroney timeouts in the 20th century.
