Iggy Fails To Deliver - Liberal Hopes Dashed!

Along with Jayson and Sondos we settled in for the whole two hours of the debate tonight and we were pretty much in agreement about the outcome. Stephen was at his robotic best and was allowed to repeat his message "ad nauseum". Jack was by far the most entertaining contributor. We loved his line about saving money by putting Canada's crooks in the Senate. (along with the rest of them) Gilles was Gilles and he remains one of the most respected politicians in the country just because he calls it like he sees it. Of course he doesn't have to worry about what the rest of Canada thinks of his views. I was thouroughly  disappointed in the performance of Ignatieff even though his handlers are claiming that he got his message across. If he did, I must have been having a pee when it happened. I had high hopes for him given his background and his reputation. Harper handled him easily and he came off looking just like the Conservatives hoped he would. I think I've seen better debating skills from the kids in Dorsal's annual Optimist public speaking events.

All in all I think it was a sad night for Liberals. Our only hope is our Canadian women who tend to use their hearts and gut feel for determining who the good guys are. If they were impressed by Michael it won't be because of his performance tonight.  However, if they don't like robots they might still vote Liberal.
