News about the Tobermory Trompers will be the main focus of this blog but not it's only one. I will include highlights from our Dofasco Golf Group as well as political updates that reflect my take on the run-up to the 2015 federal election. Your comments are most welcome as well as pictures and travel updates. Please address all comments to "Andy".

Still on the subject of Chrysler and the CAW
I read with interest both Ferg's thoughts on Chrysler and Dorsal's comment on Buzz. Ferg doesn't paint a very promising future for Chrysler even with Fiat and I agree. I'm especially puzzled by how governments on both sides of the border can believe that even a restructured Chrysler can survive until Fiat products roll off North American assembly lines - it certainly has no vehicle in its current line up that can bridge that gap. As to Dorsal's little rant on Buzz; all I can say is that Ken Lewenza's current more reasonable approach is benefiting from the contrast; he actually sounds rational. The CAW is now being picked on to the point where I'm starting to sympathize with it! When the likes of pin-head Tony Clement start to pile on you have to wonder! And our governments at both levels are making moves that seem ill conceived inspiring no confidence in us that they really have any idea whether or not the billions they are pouring in to this cause can do anything but provide a temporary extension of the inevitable. On the bright side, I'm featuring a great shot of our contributing author, Capatain Ferg on the Blog with more author shots to follow. -------------
