"Buzz'd" Hargrove

Did anyone see the CBC interview with Buzz Hargrove after the government announced that GM and the CAW must go back to the blood sacrifice pit? Buzz was bemoaning the fact that the government, which had criticized the union's habit of pattern bargaining to whipsaw the big three, was now demanding that GM follow the pattern of the Chrysler agreement. Then, when asked if Ford would have to follow, he said (without the trace of a smile, or in fact any other sign that he saw the irony in the question) "of course - they wouldn't be competitive if they didn't". Too bad he didn't understand that when he was bargaining the big three into oblivion! Hail the new Big Three - Toyota, Honda and Ford.
