Political Dreams - Dorsal's Puppet Speaks Out!

AH: I hope you don't take all this to bed at night,,,,,,it's hardly the stuff leading to satisfying dreams.I suspect the politics runs deep on both sides of this discussion. What happened to the feverish push for a coalition????? Did one of the parties involved realize that the majority of the public didn't want another election, or the involvement of the Bloc in national issues????You are right on with your comments re the global economy and Canada's incapability to control these greater issues. And although a significant deficit budget may jar loose some activity, I fear it will penalize the wrong people (taxpayers) in the long run at the expense of the many forms of inefficiencies of our manufacturing sector (and others too). However, the slicing and dicing may be the appropriate answer to directing a life saver to those initiatives that may have a longer term affect on our economy. A more general allocation of funds may only continue the practices of less efficient recipients. Let's hope the decisions made this week are towards that end.Optimist,,,,,,,,, AH - Posted on behalf of Optomist Al who continues to have problems logging on to the blog.
