News about the Tobermory Trompers will be the main focus of this blog but not it's only one. I will include highlights from our Dofasco Golf Group as well as political updates that reflect my take on the run-up to the 2015 federal election. Your comments are most welcome as well as pictures and travel updates. Please address all comments to "Andy".

Dear trepidation and friend
Andy, you let your true stripes show when you talk about "reinforce pubic opposition". You really need to get your mind out of the Liberal gay rights gutter!
And, isn't it a bit contradictory to first say "to do nothing is not an option" and then, "government couldn't solve the problem". In fact, it is precisely "to do nothing" that many economists feel is the correct path to follow, and that is no doubt what the Conservatives would have done if they had a majority, thus avoiding a structural deficit and leaving the country in far better fiscal shape to come out of this recession/depression. Instead, out of stupid fear of the coalition, they are planning the stimulus spending that the coalition "team" demanded, but which Ignatieff is now saying shouldn't be too big or too permanent. So, he's got it covered both ways and can safely criticize the government's action no matter what it does (or maybe he's just laying the groundwork to be able to support the coming budget and avoid an election/coalition).
While we're on the subject of economic stimulus, how do you explain your friend Dalton McGinty's decision to now cut back on the Pan American Games infrastructure budget. He's suddenly become concerned about spending, but don't worry, it will mainly affect only Hamilton's plans! I guess he's saving his money for his other friend Lewenza and his poor auto"workers".
P.S. Thanks for getting my adrenalin flowing again! I've missed you.
