News about the Tobermory Trompers will be the main focus of this blog but not it's only one. I will include highlights from our Dofasco Golf Group as well as political updates that reflect my take on the run-up to the 2015 federal election. Your comments are most welcome as well as pictures and travel updates. Please address all comments to "Andy".

NOW I'M ANGRY!
Today, I had to revisit my physician, in order to have my prescription changed. The reason: the drug cartel has stopped making the generic drug (guess why?)and so I am now on a similar drug that, surprise, surprise, is not covered by the government's senior drug plan. So now, Dofasco and I have to pay for it, including the portion that represents the kickback to the pharmacy.
Andy, you commented last that I was confused about my political leanings. You don't know the half of it! While I still consider myself to be a close-to-centre right-wing Conservative, I will make you a promise.
IF MCGUINTY IS SUCCESSFUL IN BEATING DOWN SHOPPERS' AND REXALL AND THE DRUG CARTEL ON THIS ISSUE, I WILL VOTE LIBERAL IN THE NEXT PROVINCIAL ELECTION.
And, if anyone knows a drug store that is prepared to take an ethical stand and refuses to participate in the kickback bribe trade, I will switch immediately from Shoppers'.
Your fuming friend,
Dorsal

And again Bud, I'm with you on this one! Loblaw has announced that it intends to expand its pharmnacy presence so it may be an alternative to Shopper's, a chain I hated long before this controversy erupted.
