An 81 Million Dollar Power Plant Owned by OLG?

This story didn't rate front page coverage yesterday and I'm not sure why. As a staunch Liberal I have defended Dalton through all the recent scandals but this may be the proverbial straw for me. I readily confess to an entrenched bias against OLG and the fact that the OLG Corporation’s name is associated with a seemingly ridiculously priced power pant immediately put me in ultra-sceptical mode. I am seeking out more details on this story so as to understand how it could conceivably have cost so much to build a power plant and then be put into a position to be potentially liable for four times that amount if we lose a law suit relating to breach of contract? Why does a casino require a dedicated power plant at all? How many jobs did the building of the plant create for the people of Windsor? Unless I find a credible explanation for these questions my support of the Ontario Liberal Party is fini. -------------AH
