Hi Andy: I've never participated in an exercise like this before but welcome the opportunity. First of all Happy New Year and looking forward to our meeting on the 19th of Jan. I think the Liberals and Conservatives will sit down and finally talk some sense to each other. The bloc scared me and I'm sure most people. I didn't vote for a government controlled by the bloc. There probably will be an election but it will not be coming until mid year. The Coalition is dead and I don't believe we need to worry about it for the future. The big three got themselves into this mess and it will take much forethought to get them out of it. I believe there will be a great reduction of manufacturing, models etc. and there may be a joining of the ranks Chrysler and GM. Ford will continue to be prosperous and will lead the way for the other two. Having said that there is much to be concerned about the imports that are here now and doing well. They will continue to grow because of the main factor the $$$. Oil will continue to hover around the $40 a barrel cost and should remain relatively stable since the car manufacturers will continue to look at vehicles that use less gas and therefore the demand will stay low, keeping the price down. Having said that if the US pulls out of Iran and the control is lost it will be free game to put the price at whatever????? My greatest fear is that someone will try and knock off Obama. And you also have another Kennedy thinking of getting into the Senate which could cause some crazy to try and get rid of her. Oh my the whole world is not in a good state and I feel sorry about the future for our sons and daughters. What is in store for them???? Thank you Andy for this opportunity to voice some opinions. Ferg
