Prediction submissions are rolling in!

As promised I'm posting the predictions that came to me by e mail here on our Blog.

AH

This from "Optomist Al"

I'll be brief on this request.
The Conservatives will continue to rule with a minority government, but the surprise will be an NDP minority with the Liberals finally conceding to elect a new leader. Can't remember the seats available, so here's some percentages:

Conservatives - 39%

NDP - 28%

Liberals - 20%

Others - 13%

I know I should have waited until later on, but I'm an impulsive and impatient kind of person.

This from Graham Sharp

Good Morning everyone.

I was very surprised how quickly the election call came about as I thought that things were going very well, the economy is strong in comparison to many others and the "confidence-contemt" issues were grossly overblown.  So, why an election now?Truthfully, who of the current three would make the best PM ?
M.I was a typical politician on Friday with his inability to answer the coalition question and the scurrying around in his office to come out with a firm denial on Saturday. However, I cannot forget Chretien's vow to eliminate the GST and then when in power said "Where does it say that in The Red Book"
The self righteous approach of the Liberals? Have they forgotten the Liberal shenanigans in Quebec of the Martin crowd?
Some Sunday morning predictions;
(Editorial coment from AH - these are Graham's predictions in order of "likleyhood".)
1. Another minority Conservative Government.
2. A Conservative majority.
3. A Liberal minority and a subsequent coalition with MI as PM, JL as Finance, GD as Foreign Affairs and Bob R as Labour.
4. Poor Jack will not last the course with his health issues.
5. Win or lose, MI will exit stage left, and from my point of view, good riddance.

At times I think that voting only encourages the bastards to keep running but the chance of a benevolent dictatorship is at the moment out of reach so, I suppose that we must get out there May 2nd and please,
vote for the only party that could provide a majority government, Steve and the boys.

Graham
