Why am I getting the feeling that I'll be paying considerably more for the same coverage? And, I find very troubling the following quote that I lifted from the Globes discription of the changes coming next summer - what's wrong with getting input on my injury from my own family doctor? Are their Doctors better than our Doctor? Of course he wouldn't be biased would he?
"The proposed changes would also remove an injured person's right to obtain an assessment from their own doctor if they disagree with the findings of the insurance company's health provider, which Duncan said was a key recommendation after a five-year review of Ontario's auto insurance sector."
I'm going to ask my independant broker what he thinks of the changes - more to come on this one for sure! -----------AH
