The Big Two (Toyota and Honda)

Did anyone read the article in Friday's Spectator regarding St. Joseph's Healthcare asking Toyota to help them control three superbug outbreaks? While Toyota doesn't profess to know anything about healthcare, they have helped several hospitals to create consistent and standard ways of doing things to cut down on mistakes and waste. They provide the staff free - the hospitals just have to cover travel costs for the Toyota employees involved. And, they haven't asked for government bailouts! Compare that with the so-called "big three" (no caps on purpose) crisis, and the CAW's stance that they aren't part of the GM/Chrysler problem and don't want to further participate in contributing to any solution. And, while they dither, their companies slide towards bankruptcy as a new world order is passing them by, and they are becoming increasingly irrelevant. Hey Ken Lewenza, weren't Bob White and Buzz Hargrove great guys? So what if they helped to destroy the North American auto industry? Carry their torch with pride as you sail (drift aimlessly) into the sunset!
