As a prelude to a more lengthy reply let me just remind you all that Mike is currently gorging himself at the public trough as a member of the Frazer Institute, a government funded think tank. I find it difficult to type "think tank" and Mike Harris in the same sentence given that the man's only excuse for the devastation he brought to this province can only be that the common sense doctrine was entirely a creation of his neo-con advisory committee. Harris himself had only one original thought in his whole career and that was in regard to the expedient removal of native protesters from Ipperwash! And then, in a grand stroke of irony, he denied himself credit for his memorable quote. As to the over-blown flag issue - what is now the problem with going to the lowest bidder! I'm still under the impression that cutting costs (or anything else) is a major tenet of Conservative thought? More to follow on the Blog - your note Bag will be posted as a start point.
