Introducing Andy Hardy

This is a continuation of the introduction I inadvertently posted earlier this evening. Why Andy Hardy you say? Well, for those of you not old enough to recognize the Andy Hardy character as portrayed by Mickey Rooney in the 40's and 50's; he was, as I am, a short guy with lots of enthusiasm, a knack for getting into trouble and a fondness for sleeveless pullover sweaters. He was also part of a kinder gentler age when the bad guys wore black hats and were easy to recognise. I have a great fondness for that age and to me the Andy Hardy adventures epitimise that simpler time. It is not my intention to prattle on about nothing on this site so my further entries will be focused on my take on the issues of the day with a minimum of staring out the rear view window.
